Traditionally, Chinese knots acted as good-luck charms to ward off evil spirits. Chinese knots are used today to decorate homes during festivities and are also commonly seen in traditional jade jewellery and traditional Chinese clothing.​​​

Every single knot embodies the sincerest wishes of a better life.

Perhaps I am lucky. Perhaps I can bring you luck.

Or perhaps maybe not.

Who really knows?

​These knots are made out of the remnants of my hair and the gel that keeps it in place.
